Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Prices are from £1.00 per appliance and are dependant upon the total number to be tested.
Each item is given a full visual inspection, followed by the appropriate electrical safety tests using the most up to date computerised equipment.
All electrical equipment to be tested has to be disconnected from the mains supply for a couple of minutes. Even though this is a relatively short period of time we realise the inconvenience that this still may cause, especially in a busy working environment; however , because our engineers liaise closely with you any disruption can be kept to an absolute minimum.
That is why we also provide out of hours & weekend service when required.
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a detailed report that provides information on each individual item tested. All items that pass the inspection & testing will be labelled with a safety sticker. Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested.
Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR) / Electrical Installation and Minor Works Certificates
Prices are from £15.00 per circuit tested and are dependant on the number of circuits in the installation.
We carry out fixed installation testing to BS7671-Wiring Regulations standards. Our electrical engineers are fully qualified (holding City and Guilds 2381 and 2391 qualifications) and are experienced in the inspection and testing of fixed wire electrical installations.
We carry out inspection and testing in commercial, public, industrial and residential premises and will be pleased to discuss your individual requirements and offer guidance on how often your electrical installation requires a Periodic Inspection and Test Report (PIR).
Emergency Light Testing
Having an emergency lighting system in the workplace is an integral part of any Health and Safety policy. Ensuring it is maintained in good working order and regularly inspected is another.
We can test and inspect your system for you, ensuring it functions under simulated fault conditions and issue you with an inspection report.
Prices are dependant on the number of emergency lights tested.
